Primo pdf does not work

I've used Primopdf for years but yesterday I received a message that Primo could not find my default reader and now it saves but does not open the pdf like it used to. Something did change my pdf default to Edge but I had already fixed that before I received the Primo message. I've uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled and can't fix it.
